It wasn't like the movie. It was seeing another person's interpretation of the same story, which is really the difference between the original musical/play to a movie version. The movie version has a larger budget and more toys to play with, while musicals/plays go towards the top actors and actresses in theatre in terms of skill rather than in ( Read more... )

This concert was probably the first one where I didn't buy any merchandise from. It was also the first concert where I was taller than a majority of the attendees. As far as performances go, not my favourite but it gets points for originality. Instead of setting it in the 1500s Scotland, they went for something akin to WWII, which actually worked out really well. First off, it was an experience! And as a sidenote, LJ you ate up my first entry so this reflects most of what I felt but not as portrayed as accurately. I will be honest that the concert didn't meet all of my expectations but you're bound to be a bit disappointed. Mostly for the lack of small talk.
